A little about David

David has served families and institutions for nearly 30 years. The bedrock of his work is experience in leading university admission offices, a collection of 100+ colleagues in admission, consultation work across 80 + colleges that include the Ivy, NESCAC, Patriot, and Big 10 leagues, as well as the U of Notre Dame, Boston College, Colgate, and a collection of other schools.  His students’ success rate with respect to fit and placement is further ensured by a keen understanding of the institutions that offer merit and need financial aid.  (My LinkedIn hyperlink)

David currently leads college counseling and International Admission at Northwood School and previously led the college counseling office at Berkshire School. While there, he provided college-related guidance and support for students and their parents, shared professional relationships with college admission officers, and held programs for students regarding the college search process.

Prior to his work at Berkshire School, he spent four years as Director of College Counseling and Assistant Registrar at Beijing High School No. 4 and Beijing National Day School in China. David's admissions work includes positions held at Creighton University, Siena College, Hamilton College, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

He is a graduate of Colby College with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, and St. Lawrence University with a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership.
